PLAY OFF SEMI FINAL DATES

Having met each other in the BSN Semi-final this season, Poole and Edinburgh will no head-to-head in the SGB Cab Direct Championship Play-offs at the very same stage, with the Pirates hosting the first leg at Wimborne Road.

The Scottish capital side will head south on Wednesday 16th September (7.30pm) with the second leg going ahead forty-eight hours later (Friday 18th, 7.30pm) at Armadale.

Announcing the dates, Poole promoter Dan Ford said,

"We are at the business end of the season now and we have to repeat what we did in the BSN by eliminating Edinburgh. I recognise that we have had two decent home results against them this season but we cannot afford to rest on our laurels. They will be as hungry as we are to make the final. You can't win the league if you don't reach the final, and I know that our riders recognise the importance of these two matches.  The fact that we have scheduled the two meetings to go ahead in the same week adds something to the event and with us holding the first leg hopefully the fans will turn out in force to give the lads the encouragement to build a decent lead.'
