HARBOUR MASTERS POSTPONED

20/10/26

For the second time this season, plans to stage the Harbour Masters Championship at Wimborne Road have been thwarted due to the weather.

The significant change of conditions has forced the club into making the regrettable decision to postpone the event and it will not be run this season.

Promoter Dan Ford said,

'It's disappointing to have to call off our final meeting of the season, but with the amount of rain we've already had and more forecast, we feel it's the sensible decision. We may have been able to get the track into a rideable condition, but with some relatively inexperienced riders in the lineup, their safety has to come first. We've seen how tricky a grippy track can be, even for experienced riders, and the last thing we want is anyone getting injured at the end of the season. We'd like to thank everyone for their understanding and look forward to bringing the Harbour Masters back in 2027 and I can confirm that ALL  2026 season tickets will be valid for the 2027 staging. Any other pre-purchased tickets will be refunded.'
