For the second successive season the Pirates will be offering a club debut to a rider just days after he has qualified for a Championship level racing licence. Cooper just falls two days outside Will Cairns' club record of being 5,847 days old, in terms of the youngest rider to debut for the Pirates.

Like Will, Cooper is only lacking experience as he proven time and again at Conference level that he has a racing quality that could take him to the highest level in the sport. As well as riding for Poole in his first professional racing season, Cooper has also been signed by Premiership King's Lynn and has secured a Polish contract for 2026.
