Following the death of former Pirate Malcolm Simmons at the weekend we can now provide details of the funeral arrangements.

Malcolm will be finally laid to rest on Friday 6th June at the Bluebell Crematorium, Kent, ME5 9QU at 2.45pm. There will be a get together afterwards at the Cobb Tree Manor Golf club should any attendees wish to congregate and rekindle all the memories that the hugely talented "Super Simmo" has left.

Poole Speedway will mark the sad passing of Malcolm Simmons, who rode for the club between 1975 and 1980 with a minute applause tonight (7.30pm) ahead of their Elite League fixture against another of Simmo's clubs King's Lynn.
