Pirates Hope for "Ritch (Pick)ings"
Swindon-born Darryl Ritchings is adding a third club to his 2025 season by agreeing to step into the Poole side for a temporary period.
Alun Rossiter has added two more big hitters to provide backup to Jason Doyle in his Swindon Select, with Aussies Nick Morris and Justin Sedgmen being confirmed starters for the challenge match on Wednesday 10th May.
Morris played more than a bit part when the Pirates won the 2018 Elite League title when, as a Swindon Robin, he served as a guest for the injured Brady Kurtz in the Grand Final. His association with Swindon dates back to 2012 aiding the Robins to the league crown that year, as they beat Poole in the final.
Sedgmen's Robins' career started two years prior to that spending two seasons initially with them before returning to the Wiltshire side for a term in 2016.
Poole boss Dan Ford noted "Swindon will arrive here on May 10th with a strong heat-leader trio, that's for sure as Sedgy and Nick join Jason Doyle as their top three. Rosco assured me he would build a competitive side when we agreed to the fixture and it is definitely looking that way as we seek to renew rivalry with one of our closest neighbours"
