No1 Carpet Cleaning Poole Pirates promoter Matt Ford was today waiting for clarification on the extent of Brady Kurtz’s injuries after the Aussie charger was involved in a nasty crash at Peterborough last night.
Kurtz was attempting to pass the Panthers’ Rohan Tungate and join Jack Holder at the front of heat 13 when he ran out of space and fell heavily.
Kurtz was treated on track and was today due to have an X-ray, with Ford waiting for news ahead of the Pirates’ Bank Holiday Monday double header against Swindon.
The Pirates were edged out 46-44 at the East of England Arena in the Premiership clash.
