DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
Fans of both Poole Pirates and Redcar Bears will be hoping it is third time lucky in getting the first half of the SCB Cab Direct Championship Play-Off semi-final
underway on Tuesday night (16th September, 19:30).
Both clubs have aspirations of appearing in the final of no fewer than all three club competitions at Championship level and the winners from this semi-final engagement will be assured of meeting one of the two Scottish sides - Edinburgh or Glasgow - in the final, the Scottish Capital side holding a first leg advantage of fourteen points in that tie.
There will be no change in the two teams from the declared sides from last Tuesday's postponements which means the Redcar Bears will have Nick Morris guesting for them, in place of Erik Riss, whilst the Pirates field their unchanged one to seven.
Fans are reminded that any advanced ticket purchases will be rolled over to Tuesday and tickets are still available online at https://www.tickettailor.com/events/poolespeoedway/1843447
