DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
PIRATES QUALIFY FOR BSN SEMI'S
10/05/25Poole Pirates will be in the BSN Series Semi-final draw, irrespective of the outcome of this afternoon's Workington v Redcar tie in the Northern Section.
Workington suffered a heavy 61-29 defeat at Scunthorpe on Friday and for them to qualify they would need the minimum of 68-22 victory over the Bears, who themselves need only to score 31 points to guarantee they win the group,
Curiously a resullt of 60-30 victory for Workington would leave the Northern section tied at the top with both Redcar and Scunthorpe having 5 group points with both having a race point differential of 5. Poole finished on 5 group points but a much better point differential of 22.
