DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
Heroes of the Grand Final Superheat at Glasgow, Richard Lawson and Zach Cook were both recipients of a brace of awards, at the club's Celebration evening held at the Wimborne Town Football Club.
Captain Zach Cook was named Team Man of the Year and scooped the Managers' Rider of The Year award, whilst Lawson received the Top Scorer of the Year accolade but also secured the Supporters' Rider of The Year award.
Tobias Thomsen, dubbed the Donut King was honoured in the category of Most Entertaining Rider whilst the Riders' Rider of the Year nomination went to Lewi Kerr.
Thomsen, Cook and Kerr were all in attendance as too was Will Cairns who proved to be most entertaining in his own right as an Auctioneer.
