New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
The architect of the past eight trophies for the Pirates, Richard Lawson, will be back for a fifth term in 2026.
Billed the Rocketman, Lawson has become part of the fixtures and fittings at Wimborne Road, since first signing for the club in 2022 and has rapidly climbed up the all-time Pirates scorers board and will begin 2026 in 15th place with 1,662 points to his name, less than 720 points behind team manager Neil Middleditch, a target Lawson has made no secret of wanting to outscore.
Promoter Dan Ford has described him as a "phenomenon" and a "class act".
Lawson who joined Poole looking for success has three league titles with the Pirates plus three KO Cup triumphs and two BSN Trophy honours to his name and returns in 2026 on a starting average of 9.58.
