DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
The Double Winning Poole 'Wessex Marine' Pirates and their fans will have the opportunity on Friday 7th November to reflect on a marvellous campaign.
The club will be staging an End of Season Party at the Wyatt Homes Stadium (Wimborne Town FC) from 7pm. Tickets, priced £25, are limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis through the club's online ticketing system https://www.tickettailor.com/events/poolespeedway
As well as the award presentations their will be hog roast and DJ in attendance, with smart casual the dress requirements.
Poole promoter Dan Ford said "whilst we finished just short of our target of winning the Treble we still had fantastic double-winning season and we would love to celebrate that achievement with our supporters, sponsors and volunteers . We have though taken the measure of capping the capacity slightly, just to make it a bit more comfortable for all, and avoid it being quite as cramped as it was last year, so I would urge all fans to get online and order their tickets before they are all sold out."
