DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
24-year old Kevin Juhl Pedersen becomes the fourth Danish rider to contest the 2025 Poole Blue Riband that is being staged at Wimborne Road on Wednesday 24th September (19.30).
In his debut visit to the UK Juhl Pedersen finished second in the Cardiff-staged SGP2 round in 2022, finishing the competition sixth overall. and more recently has been plying his trade with German side Trans MF Landshut Devils who ride in the Polish National Speedway League, along with Holsted Tigers in his native Danish league and Vargana Wolves in the Swedish league.
Confirming his inclusion in the line-up, Dan Ford said "Kevin made contact with us enquiring if there were any opportunities open to him and so this is an ideal chance to give him a taste of an EnglIsh track. No doubt he will feel at home amongst Tobias, Nicolai (Klindt) and Jonas (Jeppesen) as we haVe a quarter of our field from Denmark. We know our fans enjoy seeing new riders compete here and we are looking forward to seeing Kevin on Wednesday"
