DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
The bout of atrocious weather has struck again and the Poole management have been forced to postpone Friday's scheduled Grand Final meeting.
In reaching the decision, promoter Dan Ford said "with the extreme amount of rain causing the track to be heavily saturated and with the yellow warning still in place for more rain overnight, we have had no choice but to postpone the meeting. We want the Grand Final to be a great spectacle between two fantastic teams, and under these conditions, that would not be possible. We have rescheduled the meeting to Wednesday 9th October and all advanced purchased tickets will be valid for the new date. If however there is anyone who has already bought their tickets and are now unable to attend the new date then they should email info@poole-speedway.com for a refund.
The meeting on the 9th will now become the second leg with Oxford hosting their re-scheduled home leg on Saturday 5th October.
