High excitement, total effort and moments of controversy are all but guaranteed on Wednesday night when knockout speedway comes to Wimborne Road.
Poole Speedway will host their annual Practice Day on Wednesday 27th March, just forty eight hours before their crunch Good Friday clash with Oxford in the BSN Series.
Sponsors and Season Ticket holders will be invited to attend the event from 3pm where the 'Class of 24' will be formally introduced before the riders take to the track for the official practice session which is scheduled to start around 4pm.
Accredited members of the Press will have interview and photo-shoot opportunities ahead of the formal introductions from 2pm.
However, fans will not have to wait quite so long as originally expected before racing returns to Wimborne Road this year as Kyle Newman's Testimonial meeting has been brought forward a week to Wednesday 13th March (7.30pm) and becomes the British season's opener, as Poole promoter Dan Ford explains "The Sports Insure Premiership will be staging their launch date at Belle Vue on the 20th, the original date we had offered to Kyle, and so to maximise the availability of riders for Kyle to choose from we have acted swiftly and brought his big meeting forward by seven days and that will signify the start of the 2024 British Speedway season."
