DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
Two 'Wessex Marine' Pirates have been named in the Team GB squad for the forthcoming Speedway World Cup which is being staged this month.

The winners of that meeting will head directly to the final on July 29th, with the nations finishing second and third in that semi-final having a second-chance of reaching the big night through the race-off meeting on July 28th.
Worrall and Rowe have been named along with triple world champion Tai Woffinden, and his current GP rivals Dan Bewley and Robert Lambert. Two former Pirates, in GP star and Cardiff winner Chris Harris and 2021 British Champion, Adam Ellis have also been included in the squad which is completed by Tom Brennan.
Any squad member not called upon for the semi-final may still be included in the latter stages of the competition, should a nation progress.
