DOYLEY TO LEAD THE ROBINS IN POOLE CHALLENGE

FORMER world number one and the current leading rider in British Speedway, Jason Doyle will be leading the Swindon Select side that the Pirates will host on Wednesday 10th May.

Confirming the first of the select side being put together by Alun Rossiter, Dan Ford stated "We are absolutely delighted that Jason has signed up for the meeting. I am sure that like me, many fans will believe that you can't have a Swindon representative team without having Doyley in the side and I know that Rosco is determined to put together a strong and competitive team. It might only be a challenge match but it is certain to be a passionate one which neither side will want to lose."

August 2019 was the last time a Swindon side ventured into Wimborne Road and although the Robins are currently without a homebase, there remains a determined effort to find a new venue within the town to allow the Robins to fly again.

Ford also advised that tickets for the fixture will be going on sale from Monday (April 17th) through the club's website ticket portal and further details of the line-up will be announced in due course.
