Poole Speedway 2026 season tickets are on sale now!
Poole promoter Dan Ford is insisting that 'nothing changes' for the Pirates as they continue to seek a place in the semi-finals of the SGB Championship play-offs.
"The fact that Wednesday now becomes the first leg will have no bearing on how we approach the meeting as the game plan is for us to go out and win all our remaining matches, no matter how tough that might prove.
"We are pushing ahead with the arrangements for Wednesday night, our track staff have worked wonders for us this season and they will do everything possible to get the meeting on. Obviously, we cannot control the weather but it is our intention to go racing on Wednesday. That said, I would remind all supporters that all advanced purchased tickets are fully refundable, should the weather beat us in the end, but I will repeat, we hope to have speedway on at Wimborne Road on Wednesday night.
The Pirates will travel to Leicester on Saturday night for the first leg of the Knockout Cup semi-final, the return fixture at Poole still having to be scheduled.
