NATHAN REACHES THE SEMI-FINALS OF U21 TITLE RACE

1/09/22

Nathan Ablitt reached the semi-finals of the British U21 Championship at Birmingham on Wednesday (31st August) night after scoring 9 qualifying points.

Any further progress was curtailed when he fell in that semi-final which saw home based rider Dan Thompson, together with Connor Baily secure the last two places for the final, joining the meeting's top two scorers of Leon Flint and Tom Brennan.

It was Flint who went on to lift the crown after Brennan, already riding through the pain barrier, crashed spectacularly on the second lap.

Poole's other representative, Drew Kemp scored 7 qualifying points for an overall ninth place finish.
