CUP RECOLLECTIONS: 2004 SECOND LEG - CAN THE PIRATES RETAIN THE TROPHY?

20/07/20

Having restricted the Ipswich Witches to just six points from what had become the first leg of the 2004 KO Cup Final, the Pirates hosted the Suffolk side on the very last day of the official season.

In their request to retain the trophy, dramatically won in 2003, Poole were unchanged from that  Foxhall meeting whilst Ipswich were without Danny Bird and called upon the services of Dave Watt.

How quickly could they eradicate that first leg deficit or were the Witches about to make it a Halloween to remember?

All the action from that second leg can be followed from the comfort of your armchair on Wednesday night (22nd July) through the co-operation of ReRun Productions and Speedway Portal the Premiere showing goes tapes up at 7.30pm.

Teams:

Poole - Bjarne Pedersen; Krzysztof Kasprzak; Matej Ferjan; Antonio Lindback; Ryan Sullivan; Daniel Davidsson; Magnus Zetterstrom
Ipswich: Hans Andersen; Dave Watt; Jesper.B Monberg; Chris Louis; Scott Nicholls; Danny King; Kim Jansson
