DAN HEADING FOR NUMBER TEN
New signing Dan Gilkes will be making his tenth team appearance at Wimborne Road when the tapes go up on Good Friday (6.30pm).
Tom Brennan's GP qualifications were dashed on Monday (20th May) when he finished in fifth place in his GP qualifier meeting, with only the top four progressing.
Brennan who, on 2024 meetings alone would be Poole's top average rider presently, scored ten points at the Bavarian meeting, headed by Kai Huckenbeck and Dominik Kubera, who are both currently ninth and tenth in this year's standings, Rasmus Jensen, and Max Fricke.
German Huckenbeck, won the meeting with fourteen points, one more than the other three qualifiers, who contested a run-off which Jensen won from Kubera with Fricke third.
Plymouth's Nico Covatti scored five points from the two rides he completed, but retired in two others and sat out his final ride.
