ROCKETMAN LAUNCHES TEAM PLANS FOR 2026
The architect of the past eight trophies for the Pirates, Richard Lawson, will be back for a fifth term in 2026.
The Poole management have always believed that the voice of the fans is worthy of listening to and with a swathe of opinions amongst the Poole faithful yearning for the re-introduction of team race suits, Danny Ford has revealed that the new-era Pirates will be kitted out in official club race suits for the 2020 season and that the Poole fans themselves can have the chance to own them.
A rider's suit will be available for individual sponsorship and the name of the sponsor will be incorporated into the suit and, at the end of the season, the sponsor will receive not only the race suit but also a signed photo of their sponsored rider.
Dan Ford said, "We haven't had race suits for a couple of seasons now and in that time we have received a number of comments from supporters expressing the fact that they miss the uniformity of a club race suit and that they make it easier for the riders to be associated with the club's identity.
"This kind of sponsorship scheme has proved popular with other clubs and we felt that it would be a good route for us to take.
"We will have a scale of rates for the sponsorship, ranging from heat leader down to reserve and details can be obtained by contacting us on info@poole-speedway.com or by completing the form on our website at here.
