ROCKETMAN LAUNCHES TEAM PLANS FOR 2026
The architect of the past eight trophies for the Pirates, Richard Lawson, will be back for a fifth term in 2026.
The next REF event takes place in the main grandstand on Wednesday 13th February. Organisers have brought back the General Knowledge quiz for a second round this winter due to the popularity of the all-rounder quiz.
Host, Nigel Leahy says there is a brand new set of questions for round two including some big screen rounds with plenty to entertain. Of course the top teams will take home prizes but it’s all about having fun on the night.
The evening is open to all fans as well as their friends and the larger space has proved popular this winter.
We have seen some new faces joining in this year which has been brilliant as we like to encourage everyone to join in even if they don’t come with a ready made team.
As always, teams can be made up of four persons with the limit set at six a side and we are very happy to introduce players into scratch teams if they would like.
Entry is from 7pm with the show starting at 7.30.
£5 admission on the door with REF members benefiting from a reduced entry of £4.
