Jack Holder narrowly missed out on an A-final appearance in round three of the Australian championship
Young Holder was one of four riders to complete the Undera heats on 11 points, and countback worked against him with Jaimon Lindsey earning the direct route to the final, leaving Holder to face Rohan Tungate, Nick Morris and nine-pointer Justin Sedgmen in the B-final.
Despite an excellent last lap effort Holder couldn't manage to wrestle the lead from Tungate, the B-final winner eventually falling in the last race of the night.
The meeting was won by Max Fricke who now leads Chris Holder, second in the A, by three points in the title race.
Brady Kurtz was another to have countback work against him, his 9 points including just one race win as opposed to Sedgmen's two
