EASTER PREVIEW
The Poole 'Wessex Marine' Pirates face a tough opening fixture on Good Friday (6pm) when they welcome Devonshire cousins Plymouth Gladiator...
While the sporting world goes wild about Three Lions on a shirt, the 'Volvo Cars' Poole Pirates will be contending with "Seven Lions in the Dirt' when they head for Leicester on Monday night.
With former Lion Nicolai Klindt back in the Pirates line-up after missing Poole's convincing home win over Belle Vue last Wednesday, the Pirates will be hoping they have a trump card down at reserve. Klindt will be partnered by fellow Dane Frederik Jakobsen in the reserve berth as they look to at least maintain their away form that has seen them pick up consolation points in their last four league trips, although the first of that sequence has since been expunged from the records following the closure of Rye House.
A narrow two point defeat at Wolverhampton followed by six point deficits at both Somerset and Belle Vue has been the Pirates recent away form, whilst the Lions have, in their last four home meetings seen their respective opponents leave with league points. Leicester sit three points prouder than Poole in the table and the Lions have two matches in hand and have named an unchanged seven for the visit of Poole.
Monday's meeting, being captured live on BT Sport, will be the only action of the week for both clubs as the SGB Premiership fixture schedule has been decimated for Wednesday night, following England Football team's success at the weekend when they progressed into a semi-final clash with Croatia that night.

POOLE: Brady Kurtz, Josh Grajczonek, Kacper Woryna, Richie Worrall, Linus Sundstrom, Frederik Jakobsen, Nicolai Klindt TM Neil Middleditch
