Poole fans start filling your diaries, the Wessex Marine Pirates' fixtures have been released!
Just two defeats, both at the hands of Slovakian Martin Vaculik, denied Brady Kurtz a perfect card in the Simon Stead Farewell Meeting at Sheffield on Sunday.
Kurtz roared to four straight wins before suffering his first defeat to the Leicester Lions number one in heat 17 but it was enough for Kurtz to head straight for the Grand Final along with Niels-Kristian Iversen who had accumulated 12 points. Vaculik however needed to battle out the repercharge, having completed his programmed rides with 10 points and that semi-final pitched him against Pirates' stand-in Peter Kildemand (9), Lasse Bjerre and Kyle Howarth, both 11 point scorers.
Vaculik and Kildemand progressed to the Grand Final and the Slovakian led from the off to take the top prize ahead of Kurtz (second), Iversen (third) and Kildemand.
Poole skipper Josh Grajczonek mustered 7 points from the three rides he completed, pulling up in two others.
