SEVEN UP FOR CAPTAIN JOSH

VOLVO CARS POOLE PIRATE captain Josh Grajczonek scored 7 points in the 90th Anniversary meeting of Belle Vue Speedway on Saturday evening.

Grajczonek had one win, a second place, two thirds and a last ride retirement in the meeting at the National Stadium which was eventually won by current world champion Jason Doyle.

Grajczonek has been drafted in as a replacement for Jacob Thorssell to ride in Sunday's Simon Stead Farewell meeting at Sheffield along with fellow team-mate and Aussie Brady Kurtz who deputises for the ineligible Chris Holder.
