REACTION: PIRATES SUCCUMB TO STRONG OXFORD START

Two sides locked together on 41 points at the top of the SGB Premiership table go head to head on Wednesday night when the 'Volvo Cars' Poole Pirates have a rare midweek away-day with a trip to King's Lynn.
The Norfolk side have ridden two fewer matches than the Pirates and look to be favourites to finish in top spot ahead of the play-offs, but if the Pirates were to produce an away victory then the chase for choice of play-off opponents would turn interesting.
The Stars have recorded 17 points from their last five meetings (a possible 18), since the Pirates turned them over 61-29 at Wimborne Road and the winning sequence extended included a four point haul at Leicester on Monday, the Pirates acummulating 4 themselves from their two Bank Holiday appearances.
Both sides have been declared at full strength which poses some interesting clashes between the likes of Niels-Kristian Iversen, Robert Lambert and Thomas Jorgensen against Brady Kurtz, Chris Harris and Josh Grajczonek.
Poole went within two points of their hosts when they visited back in July, Lynn claiming a 4-2 in the final heat to secure the win.
KING’S LYNN: Robert Lambert, Erik Riss, Ty Proctor, Thomas Jorgensen, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Michael Palm Toft, Simon Lambert.
POOLE: Brady Kurtz, Josh Grajczonek, Richie Worrall, Nicolai Klindt, Chris Harris, Kacper Woryna, Frederik Jakobsen.
