NEW BOY Nico Covatti has established a two-point lead at the halfway stage of the Argentinian Championships after turning in a perfect meeting on Saturday.
Covatti, who had shared the lead after the opening round with Facundo Albin, twice beat his opponent, winning heat 3 when they met in the qualifiers, then dominating in the Grand Final.
The perfect 21 point score for Covatti edges him ahead in the championship by two points with two further rounds to come this month, the next being in Buenos Aires on Saturday (12th).
