HOLDER TOPS IN TERENZANO

JACK HOLDER earned the right to compete in the world U21 finals by winning his rain-delayed Terenzano qualifier.

Originally scheduled for Saturday the meeting was put back due to a waterlogged Italian circuit until Sunday afternoon and it produced a very evenly matched competition with no fewer than four riders scoring 12 points each to top the leaderboard.

Holder, Eduard Krcmar, Kacper Woryna and Andreas Lyager then fought out a run-off to decide the final standings and Holder claimed victory. His qualification to the finals means he joins fellow Aussie and Poole team-mate Brady Kurtz in the three-round final which begins in Poznan on July 23rd, moving on to Gustrow on September 8th and concluding in Pardubice on September 29th.
