KURTZ CHECKS IN

Brady Kurtz successfully booked his place in the World U21 Finals with a second place finish in his Czech qualifying round.

Scoring 14 points at the Pardubice venue, which will also stage the final leg of the three-round championship, Kurtz was only beaten by maximum-man, Maxsym Drabik, the son of former popular Pirate Slawomir.

Looking to join Kurtz in the final 16 will be Pirates' team-mate and fellow Australian Jack Holder who has been drawn, along with reigning champion Max Fricke in Terenzano tonight (Saturday).
