KASPRZAK UPDATE

9/05/17

Injured number one Krzysztof Kasprzak will undergo surgery on Thursday to pin his shoulder.

Kasprzak who was involved in a heat 3 crash in Poland on Sunday has been advised by his medical team that the operation is necessary as this latest injury to his shoulder is exactly where he has sustained damage no fewer than four times previously.

The diagnosis is that the break will not heal properly without the pins to support it and so he has been booked in for the operation on Thursday. Kasprzak is hopeful that the recovery time could be as short as three weeks as he is keen to get back into the saddle and re-build his season.
