2026 Fixture List
Poole fans start filling your diaries, the Wessex Marine Pirates' fixtures have been released!
Poole fans will have the opportunity to interrogate five personalities from the speedway fraternity when the Riders' Equipment Fund stages its final social event of the winter.
Joining Pirates' promoter Matt Ford on Wednesday 15th March (7.30pm, Champs Bar, Poole Stadium) will be Australian youngsters Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder to offer rider's perspective, popular SCB referee Christina Turnbull and sCB Co-ordinator Neil Vatcher, all ready to receive questions and to give their views as British Speedway moves into a new era.
Evening host Nigel Leahy said "Our Q&A sessions in the past have always proven to be a lively event and it is always good to get an insight and viewpoint from the other side of the fence so to speak. Our panel is an extremely knowledgeable one within their respective roles within the sport so we should be able to gain a good cross-section of opinions."
"I am happy to take questions from the public and they should be emailed to talkpirates@yahoo.com by Monday evening. As with all our social events the aim is to be a relaxed and informative evening but with the aim to continue to raise monies that we can re-invest to the riders throughout the season. Admission prices are our standard £4 for REF members and £5 for non-members. The doors will open from 6.45pm with the evening getting under way at around 7.30pm."
