BRIDGET MIDDLEDITCH

12/01/17

Club owner Matt Ford has paid tribute to Bridget Middleditch, wife of former club captain Ken and mother of current team manager Neil,  following her death today (Thursday 12th January),

Announcing the sad news Ford said "It is with immense sadness that I bring you news of the passing of Bridget Middleditch. We at Poole Speedway have always been a team, and that includes our wonderful wives and partners who give tremendous support to all both during and after our time with the club and extends to close family members.
Having travelled with Neil for the past 17 seasons, I know the great feeling Bridget always felt for the club. Sadly Bridget had not been in the best of health, in particularly over the last 6 months, and her passing will be felt by us all.
My thoughts and prayers are with Pirate legends Ken, Neil along with Steve who currently resides in Florida, USA.
