Poole skipper Hans Andersen qualified for the Challenge stage of the European Championships with a second place finish in Mureck, Austrria on Thursday (5th May)

The meeting was won by the unbeaten Michael Jepsen Jensen with former Pirate Krzysztof Kasprzak joining Andersen on the rostrum, with the fourth qualifying place going to Italian Nico Covatti.

The challenge round will be held in Olching, Denmark on May 26th where the battle will be on the claim a place in the four-round championship finals.
