Holder Denies a Kurtz Double

23/01/16

A perfect six-ride unbeaten performance by Jack Holder denied new Poole Pirate Brady Kurtz the chance of holding both Australian Senior and Junior titles in the same season.

Holder, youngest brother of Poole's Chris, was in super form and proved to be the only rider to head home Kurtz, beating him when they met in heat 8 and again in the Grand Final.

Kurtz recorded a new Gilman track record in the opening heat of the championship.

Third place went to Max Fricke with Jake Allen reaching the final via the B-final.
