Pirates Hope for "Ritch (Pick)ings"
Swindon-born Darryl Ritchings is adding a third club to his 2025 season by agreeing to step into the Poole side for a temporary period.
The support for strickened speedway star Darcy Ward continues to breach other sporting disciplines with former world number two tennis star Aga Radwanska the latest to become involved in fund raising.
Presently ranked number five, Radwanska was the 2012 Wimbledon runner-up and won the 2015 Singapore WTA Championship recently to claim her 17th title, and now, as she prepares for the Australian Open, has pledged her support for Ward by putting up for auction a signed racket and a tennis skirt, to help Darcy Ward in his recovery.
The items are open for bidding until 21st of December, so it may be a perfect Christmas gift for the sports enthusiast in your life.
