ROCKETMAN LAUNCHES TEAM PLANS FOR 2026
The architect of the past eight trophies for the Pirates, Richard Lawson, will be back for a fifth term in 2026.
The Pirates’ 2018 hero Chris Harris has been drafted in as an 11th-hour guest for King’s Lynn ahead of the two sides meeting at Wimborne Road tonight.
Harris comes in for injured Michael Palm Toft, while the Stars will run rider replacement for Thomas Jorgensen, who was hurt racing for Newcastle at Sheffield last night.
Pirates promoter Matt Ford said: “It’s always great seeing Bomber back at Wimborne Road.
“He was outstanding for us in 2018 and I know the fans love seeing him charge around our track.
“Having him back here will certainly add to the excitement of what is already a huge meeting for us in terms of our desire to finish top of the Premiership table.
“I think Chris always has a point to prove when he races against Poole and I’m sure tonight will be no different, so our task will be to keep him quiet if we’re to keep that goal firmly on track.”
