GIles Hartwell wishes to express his sincere thanks to the small group of volunteers who helped disassemble the air fence.

"It is one of those tasks that always marks the end of a season" admitted the Poole co-promoter "but one that necessitates a hard-working team. I would therefore like to thank Bill Meaden, 'Big Ray', Nigel Beesley, Geoff Swindells and, worthy of a special mention for his season-long efforts, Gerald Richter for their dedication and services today."
