REDUCED ADULT ADMISSION FOR STARS ENCOUNTER

28/05/15

Poole Speedway are offering special adult price admission for the next home fixture, when they entertain King's Lynn Stars at Wimborne Road on Wednesday June 3rd.

The two clubs fought out an intriguing meeting of two halves at the Adrian Flux Arena in the corresponding fixture on Thursday night with the Pirates battling back to force a last heat decider. And with the Stars holding on for victory on the night then the Dorset side will be looking for revenge when they meet again on Wednesday.

And fans can add to the occasion, which is sure to be a tense affair again, by getting behind the Pirates and benefitting from a discount of more than 40% on standard adult admission prices with a £10 price being set for this meeting.

Poole chief Matt Ford explained "Hopefully with a big saving in admission prices for adults on Wednesday we can attract a good crowd and generate a great atmosphere here at Wimborne Road. The two teams involved have been strongly fancied from the start of the season to be serious title contenders and we go into the meeting with us and King's Lynn battling out second and third place. And both of us having a keen eye on reeling leaders Coventry in then there is a strong case to suggest that those predictions are not far off the mark."

"I can only make an appeal to the fans to take advantage of this offer and come on down to Wimborne Road on Wednesday and make it a great night of entertainment. Riders will always tell you that when the crowd are behing them then they can often step up their game a notch or two and believe me we will need to be at our best on Wednesday if we are to overturn the Stars.  I am looking for the Poole fans to respond in numbers and  come along and spur the Pirates on to victory.
