WATT BREAKS FOOT

30/03/15

Poole's talisman Dave Watt has suffered a broken foot and ligament damage whilst racing in Poland on Sunday.

Watt who had returned to the Pirates this season after spending the past three seasons at Lakeside took a fall when heat 11 of the Pairs event he was competing in at Polish club Krakow had been stopped

The 27 year old Queenslander has told us "I am really angry and upset about this injury. I have broken my left foot and damaged inside and outside ligaments of the ankle. I worked so hard in the winter to get fit for this season after a spate of niggling other injuries and then this happens to me right at the start of the season."

"I am already sorting out treatments to be back as quickly as possible but right now I can't put a timescale on it".
